Synchronisation between Moloni ON and WooCommerce

The plugin between Moloni ON and WooCommerce synchronises data for both new and existing products, ensuring that information is always up to date on both platforms.

This mechanism saves time and effort when updating data, whether creating or issuing documents, while preventing errors and duplicated information.

Tip:

For sync to work, the Reference field in Moloni ON must match the SKU field in WooCommerce.

Product sync

In Moloni ON, you can synchronise products from your WordPress site. Within the plugin settings, under the Automation section, you can choose to enable product synchronisation - both from WooCommerce to Moloni ON and from Moloni ON to WooCommerce - under Automatic actions.

Automatic actions:

Sync stock;
Create products;
Update products.

The product fields that can be updated are:

Name;
Price;
Description;
Visibility;
Stock;
Categories;
EAN;
Image.

You can customise these fields in the Automation tab.

Product creation

The plugin creates your products automatically: whatever you do in Moloni ON appears in WooCommerce and whatever you do in WooCommerce appears in Moloni ON, keeping all data and stock identical.

Taxes:

When a product is sent from WooCommerce to Moloni ON, the plugin applies the default tax set in your Moloni ON company settings.

Before issuing invoices or documents, always check if the VAT rates match on both platforms.

Product update

Any changes you make in WooCommerce are automatically updated in Moloni ON and vice versa, keeping both platforms permanently synchronised.

In both cases, the synchronised fields are the ones you defined in the plugin settings, under the Automation tab and the Fields to sync section.
