Synchronisation between Moloni ON and Shopify

The plugin syncs all your new and existing products between Moloni ON and Shopify, keeping your data up to date on both platforms.

This tool saves you time and effort by automating updates and document issuing, preventing errors and duplicate data.

Tip:

For sync to work, the Reference field in Moloni ON must match the SKU field in Shopify.

Product sync

In Moloni ON, you can sync your Shopify products. In the plugin settings, under Automation, you can enable two-way sync in the Automatic actions section.

Automatic actions:

Sync stocks - Keeps quantities updated in real time.
Create products - Automatically creates the product in the destination store if it doesn't exist yet.
Update products - Reflects changes made to selected fields (e.g., changing a price in Moloni ON updates Shopify).

Product fields you can update:

Name and Description;
Price and Visibility;
Categories and Images;
Identifiers (SKU/Barcode).

Product creation

The plugin creates your products automatically: whatever you do in Moloni ON appears in Shopify, and whatever you do in Shopify appears in Moloni ON, keeping all data and stock identical.

Taxes:

When a product is sent from Shopify to Moloni ON, the plugin applies the default tax set in your Moloni ON company settings.

Before issuing invoices or documents, always check if the VAT rates match on both platforms.

Product update

The plugin automatically syncs products and changes between Shopify and Moloni ON, keeping stock, prices, and data updated on both platforms.
