Do you use the same password everywhere? Watch out!

The mistake 41% of people make (and you might be one of them)
If you use the same password for your email, your social media, and your management software, I have bad news: you are making the hackers' job much easier.
A recent study by Cloudflare revealed something striking: nearly half of all successful internet logins involve passwords that have already been stolen or compromised. The problem isn't that your password is "weak"—it’s that it’s repeated. If a site where you registered five years ago is attacked, hackers gain the master key to enter everything else you own.
Hackers? No, they are armies of robots
Don’t imagine a person sitting there trying to guess your password. Today, the work is done by bots (robots). These automated systems take lists of stolen passwords and try to "log in" to thousands of sites simultaneously.
If you use WordPress for your company website, you need to be twice as careful: 76% of login attempts using stolen passwords on these sites are successful. That is a number too high to ignore.
How can you protect yourself without going crazy?
I get it: nobody can memorize dozens of complex codes with letters, numbers, and symbols. But the solution is simpler than you think:
1. Use a password manager: Tools like 1Password, LastPass, or even Google's free manager store everything for you. You only need to remember one (the master password), and the program handles creating and filling in unique, strong passwords for every site.
2. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA): This is the code you receive via SMS or an App (like Google Authenticator) whenever you try to log in on a new device. Even if a hacker knows your password, they can't get in without your phone.
3. Explore passkeys: This is the future of security. Instead of passwords, you use your fingerprint or facial recognition on your phone to log in to websites. It’s faster and nearly impossible to steal.
Your business is too valuable for a weak password.
Digital security starts with your attitude. Changing your passwords and starting to use a manager might take 30 minutes, but it could save you months of headaches and financial losses.
